The Donor Memorial & Healing Garden

The Iowa Lions Eye Bank enjoys a longstanding relationship with University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in helping to provide the gift of sight for Iowans. The Iowa Lions Donor Memorial & Healing Garden was created at the front entrance to the University of Iowa Health Center in 2005 to mark our 50th Anniversary. The themes of the memorial garden are Hope, Renewal, and Transformation.

Designed by Lisbon Artist Tim Ellsworth and Country Landscapes Designer Alex Schmidt, the Donor Memorial & Healing Garden commemorates donors who have transformed lives through their generosity and the Iowa Lions and others who have supported the work of donation.

Visit the Iowa Lions Donor Memorial & Healing Garden to learn more about purchasing memorials in the garden.
