Scott Van Oss

Laboratory Technician, COA

Scott began working with the Iowa Lions Eye Bank in December of 2015 after holding a position as a clinical technician with the Ophthalmology department at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Scott is a native Iowa, however, he and his wife spent time in Texas pursuing educational and work experience. After earning his certification as an ophthalmic assistant working for a Pediatric Ophthalmologist he returned to Iowa and began his work with the University of Iowa. He enjoys trying varieties of craft beer, watching movie’s with his wife, and spending time with friends. He is excited for the opportunity to learn more about the world of eye, organ and tissue donation.
