The role of the recovery technician is to perform the recovery of human ocular tissue for the purpose of both transplantation and for research/education purposes.

  • We provide all the training
  • Pay begins at $16 an hour, increasing to $20 an hour after training
  • Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, minimum 2 year commitment, good manual dexterity, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds without assistance.

The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, Iowa Lions Eye Bank is seeking a 100% Administrative Services Coordinator (ASC).  The Administrative Services Coordinator (ASC) for the Iowa Lions Eye Bank (ILEB) provides administrative support for senior leadership and staff at ILEB, performing administrative, event planning, financial/HR, and clinical support tasks requiring recurring contact with eye bank staff, surgeons, partner organizations, Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences faculty and staff, vendors, service providers, patients/donor families, and the general public.
